- September 30, 2016 *ACLU presents Know Your Rights!* Brown Bag it, Lobos. Enjoy your lunch in the library while learning about many valuable rights as citizens, residents, noncitizens, or visitors of our country.
- October 31-November 11, 2016 *Book Fair* Check out the amazing selection of books and goodies in the library! Our goal is to sell $2,500 to earn 50% of the profit. Please encourage all students to support our goal.
- November 8, 2016 *Election Suffragette Day* On Election Day, please visit the library for a presentation on the importance of voting. In honor of the 19th Amendment, wear purple, white, and gold, to support the hard work suffragettes endured to earn the right to vote.
- December 12, 2016 *Maker Space: Create a Book Ornament* Create a book ornament and trim our wonderful tree.
- January 18, 2017 *LOBO Lecture Series: Dreamers* Listen to your fellow Lobos and other invited guests speak of their definition of "Dream."
- February 2, 2017 *Harry Potter World Day!* Please celebrate the work of JK Rowling with a fun-filled day of Harry Potter and the wonderful world she created.
- February 15, 2017 *LOBO Lecture Series: RACE* Listen to your fellow Lobos and other invited guests speak of what the word RACE means to them.
- March 9, 2017 *Inaugural Book Club* First essay will be read aloud from Ta-Nehisi Coates, Between the World and Me, this year's first selection of the Lobo Book Club.
- April 13, 2017 *LOBO Lecture Series: Namesake* Listen to your fellow Lobos and other invited guests speak about what NAMESAKE means to them.
- May 17, 2017 *Summer Reading Kick Off Celebration: * Celebrate the end of the school year and the beginning of the summer, by picking up your summer reading assignments and your books!
